Whitefeather Peace Community
All events shown below are held at Whitefeather House unless otherwise indicated. We are in North Portland, Oregon at 3315 North Russet St, which is one mile west of I-5 and one block north of North Lombard, behind Sterling Savings Bank.
We are located just one block north of the #75 bus line which runs on Lombard. You get off at US Bank, which is one stop after Greeley/Peninsular (Walgreen's). Look for the white house with green trim.
Children and friends are welcome.
All meals are vegetarian (that means no fish as well, please), and no alcohol. Thanks!
Event Details:
April saw the arrival of Terri and Alexa to the Whitefeather House. Alexa wants to welcome other children to come to the house for roundtables, and she'll share her great kids films and her abundant collection of toys while the adults work hard to bring peace to the world.
May 13th we'll hear from VOZ, watching the film "Jornaleros". It's a film that widens one's perspective about who jornaleros are. It also touches upon immigration issues through the lens of artists, who also happen to be jornaleros. It's a great film.
